ANDERS SCHAGER
Anders Schager grew up during the vibrant musical era of the 1960s and 1970s, a time when bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Hollies, and The Who dominated turntables everywhere. In his hometown of Halmstad, the music scene thrived, with around ten local pop bands competing for attention at various pop galas, all dreaming of reaching the heights of their idols and role models. For Anders, life revolved around this exciting wave of new music.
His musical journey began at the age of ten when he joined his first band, wielding a guitar that was almost as big as he was. Throughout his life, the guitar has been a constant companion, though Anders admits he often mastered “half songs” rather than learning entire tracks - a quirk that, while endearing, might have frustrated those listening in.
The arrival of computers and home recording software transformed his approach to music. With access to advanced tools, Anders embraced the ability to create and produce music independently, laying the foundation for his current creative path.
