BLIND DOG
Blind Dog emerged from Halmstad, Sweden, blending classic rock influences from KISS, Black Sabbath, Cream, and Jimi Hendrix with the heavy grooves of the ‘90s, inspired by Monster Magnet, Corrosion of Conformity, and Soundgarden.
Formed in the mid-’90s by Tobias Nilsson (Bass/Vocals), Joakim Thell (Guitar), and Thomas Elenvik (Drums), the band gained early recognition when their 1996 demo caught the attention of RoadRunner Records, landing them on the genre-defining compilation “Burn One Up” (1997). Blind Dog’s debut album, The Last Adventures of Captain Dog (1999), was later re-released by MeteorCity, followed by Captain Dog Rides Again (2003) via Listenable Records. After disbanding in 2008, they left a final mark with Captain Dog Logs Out. In 2020, their debut was remastered and reissued on vinyl via The Lab Records, with digital distribution by Strawtown.
