FILIPPA BORGMAN
Born on the Swedish west coast, Filippa developed an early love for music, influenced by Led Zeppelin, old blues, and AC/DC. At twelve, she began singing lessons, setting the stage for her musical journey.
In 2019, she moved to London to study Popular Music Performance at BIMM University. London left a lasting impression, especially after performing Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen” at The Half Moon Putney, where the audience’s response was unforgettable.
Filippa seeks to create music that makes people feel and think. She writes with a visual approach, often crafting stories that mirror reality. For her, songs are more than melodies—they’re emotional narratives. Her musical inspirations include Leonard Cohen, Stevie Nicks, Lana Del Rey, Nick Drake, and Monica Zetterlund. Filippa is also passionate about poetry and dreams of publishing a poetry book one day. Currently, she aims to release an EP during 2025, sharing her voice and stories with the world.
